• $50 pays for a new recycling bin.
• $150 buys safety vests for the market volunteers.
• $250 covers a seasons worth of office supplies.
• $500 allows us to replace 2 heavy duty utility carts.
• $1,000 pays for the four tents (plus tent weights)that are necessary for providing shade to musicians and market goers now that the Copper Beech tree is gone.
• $2,500 provides funding for 6 weeks of WFM’s SNAP Match program.
• $5,000 funds an entire season of POP Club.

Westfield Farmers Market is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to support our regional agricultural economy and provide our community members with access to affordable locally grown food. Your tax-deductible donation to WFM supports the cost of operating our community farmers market each season, for everything from replacing tents and tables, to website maintenance, to food access programs, all the way down to replacing lawn signs.

2023 Market highlights:

• 10,966 customers visited over the 20 week season.
• 558 households with low-income were served through our food access programs, a more than 50% increase over 2022.
• Ascentria Care Alliance and UMass Extension provided free nutrition education and healthy recipes utilizing fresh produce.
• Western MA Master Gardeners Association offered soil testing and provided information and education about home gardening.
• Westfield Athenaeum provided free activities for children.
• 18 Local musicians provided family friendly entertainment to market goers throughout the season.

WFM is working to further expand food access in our community, offer more educational events, and introduce programs like PoP Club in 2024, but we can’t do it without your support.
