Can you believe it’s already the week of July 4th? Whether you’re planning a cookout or are just craving something fresh and local, the Market’s got you covered. Stop by Thursday and you’ll find the first corn of the season, along with mountains of tomatoes and summer squash, refreshing microgreens, and, of course, freshly baked treats -including plenty of gluten free options- for dessert.
SNAP shoppers, a reminder that HIP benefits have been refreshed for July and increased to $40/month. And if you need inspiration for using all the fruits and veggies you’ll find at the market this week, visit Ascentria SNAP-Ed’s tent and pick up some free recipes.

Healthy Incentives Program Update
Beginning July 1st, the monthly HIP benefit is increased to $40 per month for all active SNAP households. If you are a MA SNAP customer, you have HIP and receive an instant dollar-for-dollar rebate of up to $40 each month when you use SNAP to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at farmers markets and farm stands. Not sure how HIP works? Stop by the SNAP tent and we're happy to explain.

Pignatare's Farm
We are a local farm in Westfield, MA specializing in fresh fruits & vegetables as well as seasonal vegetable plants & flowers. We also sell breads, jams, pickles, and honey. We look forward to another year of working with our community members & supplying them with fresh products! We accept SNAP/EBT (HIP Program), Fresh Connect, debit/credit card and cash.
